CIVIL DROP BOX FOR AFTER HOURS FILING:
Due to the budget crisis, our courts now close at 3:00 p.m. A drop box is provided for filings between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Documents placed in the drop box will be processed the same day. If problems are encountered (improper fees, not timely, etc.) the Clerk's Office will make every effort to contact you before the documents are returned.

CIVIL COURT FEES:
Pursuant to the government Code the court must charge for the various documents filed and issued. A fee schedule is available online on this web site and at the Clerk's Office.

If a party cannot afford to pay court fees, a fee waiver may be granted, upon request. Information on the fee waiver and application form may also be obtained at the Clerk's Office.

INTERPRETERS:
In civil matters, the court does not furnish interpreters. Parties must provide their own if one is needed in court.

Employees of the court are not permitted to give legal advice, assist in the selection of forms or assist with the completion of forms. Legal problems can be reduced or avoided in consulting an attorney. (GC 24004, 68082)
